Recently, the usage of laser transmission welding (LTW) technology in automotive industry has been rising for joining thermoplastic parts regarding its superior properties comparison to other technologies. However, specifying process parameters is a crucial step obtain satisfactory quality vehicle parts. In this context, paper addresses LTW Polimetil metakrilat (PMMA) Akrilonitril bütadien stiren (ABS) materials production taillights an company and proposes new multi-response Taguchi-Based TOPSIS (Technique Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution) method optimize machining process. proposed solution methodology, main effects on different outputs are identified using [Formula: see text] orthogonal array Taguchi method.
